‘I don’t have a perfect body. For me, I like showing off my legs because I work really hard on them. So you will rarely find me wearing pants.

I’m not always perfect but I try to keep a balance in my life. I stay far away from a scale because it’s not about a number, it’s about how I feel. I try to eat healthy because it makes me feel good.’

From the ‘showing off my hot body’ on Twitter collection: mom of two Mariah Carey (43), who was kind enough to reveal her beach body in a shot from her new video.

Here’s what Mariah says about post-baby weight loss:

‘I put on 70 lbs. but if you look at me in pictures you’d think it was more like 9,000 lbs. I have a lot of empathy with people who have to lose a lot of weight.

‘I used to be able to slim down just by exercising more, but that’s changed. Since having the babies, I realise that 90 percent of losing weight is my diet.

‘Today my workout routine is more about getting and staying toned. And for me, that means either taking hour-long walks a few times a week or jumping in the pool three or four days a week to do 45 minutes of aquatic exercises.’
